At present, there is influence of western wind and local wind in the country. In addition to this, the water vapor air coming in from the Arabian Sea also has a partial effect, according to the Weather Forecast Division.

Today afternoon, it will be partly to mostly cloudy in hilly areas of the country, including Koshi, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces, while it will remain partly cloudy in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning at a few places in the hilly areas of the country including Koshi, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim and at one or two places in the rest of the hilly areas. 

There is a possibility of light rain/snowfall at one or two places in the Himalayan areas of the country. According to the division, there is also a possibility of windstorm in few places of Lumbini province including Madhes province.
