UML has discussed the budget for the next financial year. UML Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali informed the press conference held after the meeting about the coming financial year at the secretariat meeting held at the UML Central Office in Chaisal, Lalitpur.

He said that in the meeting, the leaders emphasized that the budget should be solid and result-oriented.  

'Basically, as the policy and program says, the budget should be solid and result-oriented . In the past, there has been inconsistency in the selection of resources and the priority of the plan,' he said,  "Let the budget come after the chaos of the past". The federal government has a national level  It has been emphasized that the rest of the planning should be focused on the state and local levels.

Likewise, the leaders have suggested that the meeting should focus on budget production and productivity. Deputy Secretary General Gyawali said that by building an intensive sector in the agricultural sector, emphasizing on land, technology, market and savings, the budget should be focused on increasing their income and increasing the country's self-sufficiency.

Deputy Secretary General Gyawali said that the meeting discussed to advance the development of information technology in collaboration with Gen-G by focusing on the 'Gen-G' generation in the budget and making them active in entrepreneurship and enterprise. 

Similarly, due to the changing geopolitics, the international assistance has been reduced and the donors withdraw their hands from the contracted projects, which will increase the responsibility of the government, and the party has suggested the government to prioritize the plan taking this into consideration. 

According to Deputy Secretary General Gyawali, it has been suggested in the meeting to create a budget keeping in mind good governance, corruption control and maximum utilization of resources.
