The Narayanghat-Butwal road of the East-West Highway has been blocked due to continuous rain since last night.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhu Nepal, Information Officer of the District Police Office, informed that the road was blocked due to continuous rain in the lower part of this road which is being expanded. He has also requested all the passengers traveling through this road to travel on alternative roads as the road became slippery and completely blocked due to rain since last night.
In order to speed up the road expansion work, the road is being completely closed in the southern section from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am daily.
This road, which has been closed since the night, has been closed due to rain, and the line of vehicles is getting longer after the traffic has stopped. Information Officer Nepal informed.
