The unity convention organized by the high-level committee of the non-resident Nepalese association has unanimously elected the new working committee under the leadership of Mahesh Shrestha. On the second day of the ongoing convention in Kathmandu, the election committee announced that the new working committee was elected unopposed under the leadership of Shrestha. Shrestha has been doing business in Japan.

According to Chief Election Commissioner Gopalkrishna Ghimire, the vice presidents have been elected respectively Khagendra Neupane, Lok Prasad Dahal, Sunil Kumar Shah, Manoj Kumar Shrestha, Biswasdeep Limbu, Buddhisagar Subedi and Janaki Gurung.

Similarly, Baburam Lama has been elected as the Secretary General, Tankprasad Gayre, Chintamani Sapkota, Tilak Prasad Gayre and Devaki Khatri Gurung as Secretary respectively. Thakur Prasad Dhungana as treasurer, Makrishna Prasad Pokharel as co-treasurer, Rashmi Thapa as women coordinator, Bhimsen Thapa as youth coordinator.

Similarly, the convention has also selected regional coordinators and deputy coordinators . which  Coordinator of Asia Pacific Dr. Balram Shrestha, Prem Bahadur Gurung in Europe, Ramesh Shrestha in the Middle East, Dhiluram Parajuli in North and South America, Irsad Ahmed in Oceania.

from the Supreme Court  On 21 March 2080, the joint bench of Supreme Court Justice Sapna Pradhan Malla and Nahkul Subedi conducted this convention by a high-level committee led by Shesh Ghale, who was appointed to resolve the deadlock in NRN, which is a common organization of all non-resident Nepalis.

After the dispute over the selection of representatives of the 10th convention, the 81st meeting chaired by the then president Kumar Pant on 1 January 2078 formed a 7-member high-level committee consisting of Upendra Mahato, Jiva Lamichhane, Devman Hirachan, Bhavan Bhatt, Ram Pratap Thapa and Kumar Pant under the chairmanship of the then patron Shesh Ghale . This is what the court woke up.

Badri KC, elected from the 11th convention of Non-Resident Nepali Association International Coordinating Committee, and his working committee, founder president Upendra Mahato, did not participate in this convention.

The KC side has claimed that the term of office of its working committee will be till 4th of October 2018. Based on this, the KC party is in the position of holding a special convention and a regular convention simultaneously. The working committee of the KC Party has decided to hold the 12th International Congress and World Conference in Kathmandu from October 11 to 14.
