Demand of MPs: Stop sending students to KIIT

Members of the National Assembly have demanded to stop sending students to the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Odisha, India. Also, they have emphasized that no objection letter (NOC) should be given to the students who want to go there.

During the emergency session of the National Assembly today, they drew the attention of the government to stop the NOC saying that the students are unsafe in KIIT, the serial deaths of students one after the other do not guarantee the safety of the students. Rashtriya Janamorcha MP Tul Prasad Vishwakarma said that the government should stop the process of giving NOC for the college.

Similarly, Nepal Communist Party (Unified Socialist) MP Madan Kumari Sahle  Demanding to stop NOC for KIIT  Parents were also asked to be aware.

During the emergency, Mohammad Khalid of the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, Shekhar Kumar Singh of the Democratic Samajwadi Party Nepal and Krishna Bahadur Rokaye of the Nepali Congress investigated the death of a Nepali student in KIIT and prosecuted the culprits. Demanded to take continuous initiative . Gangakumari Belwase of Maoist and Sumitra Bisi of Nepal Communist Party (UML) were among those who demanded investigation into the incident and action against the culprits.
