As the Nagadhunga-Piplamod road of Tribhuvan Rajpath needs to be constructed and improved, the Nagadhunga-Naubise section will be closed from this May 22 at night.
Nagadhunga-Mugling Road Plan (Eastern Section) has informed that necessary preparations have been started to make arrangements accordingly, said Apilraj Bohra, Spokesperson of District Police Complex Kathmandu and Superintendent of Police.
Nagadhunga-Mugling road plan (East section) issued a notice on Saturday in coordination with the relevant district administration office and informed that the road will be partially blocked from 11:00 am to 3:00 am from May 22nd to May 31st.
Vehicles going from Kathmandu will be stopped at Nagadhunga check post and vehicles coming from Naubise to Kathmandu will be stopped at Khatrapauwa bridge. The project has also requested to use Sitapaila-Bhimudhunga-Ramkot-Dharke road and Samakhushi-Tokha-Gurjevanjyang Chhare-Trishuli-Galchi road.
It is said that all the vehicles stopped at the above location will be released only after 3 am. It is said in the notification, 'It is requested that you strictly maintain your lane discipline while stopping and driving the vehicle during the stoppage time and do not overtake indiscriminately when the vehicles are queued up. In addition, the behavior of ambulances and security agencies' vehicles is also informed.
