Maoist General Secretary Dev Bahadur Gurung has said that there should be a judicial inquiry into Pokhara International Airport. While meeting with journalists in Pokhara on Friday, Gurung, who is also a former minister, said that the allegations of corruption at Pokhara Airport will not be justified only by a policy investigation.

A subcommittee under the Public Accounts Committee of the Parliament has prepared a report that at least 10 billion rupees of corruption has occurred at the Pokhara Regional International Airport.  Nepal Civil Aviation Authority and the Chinese construction company China CAMC Construction, in collusion of the Pokhara International Airport, have seen billions of rupees of corruption from the contract process to the construction. Regarding the same issue, General Secretary Gurung said that the Maoist Party has given full support to the government for the investigation. "We have not said that we are opposition to the government on issues of good governance, nationality issues and order," he said. We warn from the streets and from the house.'' Stating that the courtiers have been strengthened due to the government's actions against good governance, he said that the Maoists, being in the opposition, have warned by making an agenda for the defense of democracy, nationalism, end of instability, republic and good governance.

"Though the problem of the teachers is similar, the government did the work of creating conflict and conflict," he added, "Why is the agenda that was covered during Vidya Bhattarai's time put forward now?" Why were you forced to resign?'' He said that despite the general demand of the teachers to pass the bill, the education sector is in chaos due to the government's lack of interest. He alleges that the government is not serious about the indecent treatment of teachers, non-investigation of co-operative victims, meter-bagging, microfinance and financial problems. He said that the government has also forced the issues to be addressed through consensus and negotiations to come to the streets.

Stating that the opposition has raised its voice based on the merits and demerits of the work, he said that chaos and instability have been created because of the government. He said that Nepal should address the people's problems in a peaceful way when the world is going ahead with tax policy and military policy.

General Secretary Gurung said that because of the activities of the government, the government is at risk because the government is not happy with the government. He argues that the Maoists are in no hurry to join the government. Gurung said that the government has failed due to the activities of the government and said that the government will be reshuffled due to the internal problems of the government. He said that the Terai-Madhesh campaign of the Maoist center was conducted and when he went door-to-door to understand the problems of the people, he was able to meet directly with one crore people. He said that despite being geographically prosperous, the marginalized community is still suffering from injustice due to policies and laws. He claimed that the wave of people is increasing towards the Maoists who met directly with the families of conflict victims, injured, disabled and martyrs.
