All labor and employment opportunities should reach common citizens: Prime Minister Oli

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that all labor and employment opportunities should reach common citizens.

On the occasion of the 136th International Workers' Day, Prime Minister Oli said that challenges faced in foreign employment should be controlled at the launch program of the Labor, Employment and Social Security Ministry organized here today.

'Whether it is training to develop the labor market or entrepreneurship development or concessional loans, to bring all the labor and employment services provided by the government to the doorsteps of the people, the labor, employment and social security services should be connected to the citizen app in the near future to make the entire services of labor, employment and social security accessible to all Nepalis,' said Prime Minister Oli. 

Prime Minister Oli said that the use of information technology is essential in achieving the goal of 'Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali', and that information technology plays an important role in building a knowledge-based society and 'digital' economy, using technology to achieve the goals of development and prosperity, and providing services to all Nepalis in a simple manner.  

Prime Minister Oli said that the government has proceeded with the construction of a labor market information system and the formulation of policies and programs based on information. Since the government is creating a strategic action plan to make the next decade a decade of internal service promotion, Prime Minister Oli called to participate in this journey of the country's prosperity.

The labor world system is an exchange system of labor and employment services. From there, it is expected that there will be help in matters related to labor and employment, demand and supply analysis, involvement in employment, regulation of employers, maintaining access to employment services and bringing the benefits of federalism to the people.  The government believes that by removing the distance between workers, employers and employment services through the

portal, by removing the physical presence and procedural hassles, by regulating all sections of the labor society through the development of citizens' skills, abilities and qualifications, the government believes that it will help the nation move towards prosperity.
