The Supreme Court said that the order issued by Mahimansingh Bista, the officer of the case branch, regarding the arrest of Resham Chaudhary, was unauthorized.
Nirajan Pandey, Assistant Spokesperson of the Supreme Court said, 'That letter was not official of the Supreme Court. It was based on his personal decision.'
The Supreme Court has said that legal action has been initiated against Singh, the branch officer who cut the letter.
Mahimansingh Bista, a letter-cutting branch officer, has been detained by the police to arrest Resham Choudhary, the patron of Civil Liberation Party (Naupa), from the case branch of the Supreme Court. Bista has been arrested and detained by the team of the Kathmandu Police Complex.
Bista, the branch officer of the Supreme Court's case and writ division, reversed the amnesty decision of President Ramchandra Poudel. On the basis of this letter, the police arrested Chaudhary from Nepal Pragya Pratishthan on Wednesday.
