Citizen Liberation Party (NAUPA) guardian Resham Chaudhary has been released from prison. He was taken to Dillibazar Jail after he was arrested on the basis of an unauthorized letter from the branch officer of the Supreme Court.

Chaudhary was detained by the police on Wednesday afternoon from Pragya Bhavan premises, the venue of the event, when the unity with the Janamat Party led by CK Raut was about to be announced. Security personnel in plain clothes reached Pragya Bhawan and arrested him.

Chowdhury was arrested and taken to Dillibazar jail by the police to implement the order of the Supreme Court. After being found to be 'unauthorised', the police arrested and detained Mahimansingh Bista, the officer of the letter cutting branch. The Supreme Court issued a statement saying that the letter regarding Chaudhary's arrest was unauthorized and the process of legal action against Bista has started.

With the arrest of the guardian Chowdhury, the public opinion and Naupa's unification announcement program has also been postponed.
