Six Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police from the District Police Group of Nepal Police have been promoted to Additional Inspector General (AIG) of Police. According to the decision of the cabinet meeting held on Monday, they have been promoted with effect from May 11, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
According to the letter received from the Ministry of Home Affairs, the police head office said that those who were promoted were posted today. Chandrakuver Khapung, Lalamani Acharya, Krishnahari Sharma Pokharel, Dan Bahadur Karki, Rajan Adhikari and Dr. Manoj Kumar KC are among those promoted. They were recommended for promotion to the post of Additional Inspector General of Police by the promotion recommendation committee meeting of the Ministry of Home Affairs on 4th May.
According to Gogendrasingh Thapa, Police Superintendent of Police Headquarters, Human Resource Development Department, Khapung has been posted to Central Investigation Bureau, Acharya to Police Headquarters, Operations Department, Pokharel to Police Headquarters Administration Department, Karki to Police Headquarters, Human Resource Development Department, Officer to Police Headquarters, Crime Investigation Department and KC to Police Headquarters, Provincial Coordination Department today.
