35,000 tourists from SAARC nations visited the palace area of ​​Hanumandho

So far in the current financial year, 35 thousand 785 people from SAARC countries and 145 thousand 625 people from other countries have visited Hanumandhoka Darbar area.

During the tourist season, up to 700 tourists come daily to visit Hanumandhoka. Chandragopal Pradhan, the head of the Hanuman Door Darbar Conservation Program said that there are more tourists especially in August, October and October.  According to him, last year 47 thousand 399 tourists came from SAARC countries and 153 thousand 262 tourists from other countries. More tourists come during Indrajatra than other times.

With the increase in tourists, the income of the Hanuman Door Palace Conservation Program has also increased.  Chandragopal Pradhan, the head of the program, informed that 146.663 thousand tourism fees were collected till the first week of May of the last financial year, and 15.6635 thousand have been collected during the same period of the current year. He says that the

office has set a target of earning 170 crores for the current year and the target can be reached easily. Last year, the office had set a target of 150 million only.
