The talks held today between the leaders of the ruling party Congress, UML and the officials of the Nepal Teachers' Federation have been positive.

A leader who participated in the discussion said that after the government presented positively on the issue of addressing the demands raised by the teachers' federation in a discussion of about 3 hours, the teachers' movement that has been going on for 27 days is headed towards an end. According to him, there has been an effort to gather consensus around the 7-point proposal prepared by the then Education Minister Vidya Bhattarai.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers continues after the meeting held between the ruling party and the officials of the Federation at the residence of Congress Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka.
