The party unification will be announced on May 17 between the Janmat Party and the Civil Liberties Party. Sharadsingh Yadav, spokesperson of Janmaat Party, informed that the date of party unification has been fixed.

According to his , a meeting of the central executive committee of the party has been called on Tuesday for further discussion on the matter of party integration. Public opinion has also listed the leaders to attend the meeting held at the central office of the party in Madhyabaneshwar at 6 pm with their citizenship and voter ID cards.

Public opinion has invited all central members, members of fraternal and well-wishing organizations to attend the party unity announcement program to be held at Nepal Pragya Foundation on Wednesday. The leaders have said that the name, flag and leadership of the party to be formed after the merger have been almost agreed upon. The name of the new party, Citizen Janmat Party, has been finalized.

It has been agreed that Janamat Party chairman Sike Raut will be the chairman of the party formed after the merger, while Resham Chaudhary, the patron of Civil Liberties Party, will also be the patron of the new party, and Ranjita Shrestha, chairman of Civil Liberties, will be the co-chairman.

In the year 2077, under the leadership of Sike Raut, Janmat and Civil Liberation Party were formed on 19th of January 2078. Currently, there are 6 MPs from Janmat and 4 MPs from Civil Liberation Party.
