On the occasion of Democracy Day, UML organized a 'Youth Celebration' meeting in Kathmandu on Thursday. UML has said that the meeting was organized to educate the youth as they are working to connect the democratic republic with the youth and spread confusion about democracy.

UML selected speakers under 40 years of age to give speeches about democratic republic. Deputy Chief of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Sunita Dangol, Deputy Chief of Shivraj Municipality of Kapilvastu Shivkumari Chaudhary, President of Swaviyu of Baglung Campus Ashwini Sheikh, President of Swaviyu of Prithvi Narayan Campus Vishnu Pokharel and others gave speeches. Although all party officials were present, only Prime Minister and President KP Sharma Oli and General Secretary Shankar Pokharel spoke on behalf of the leadership. In the

meeting, Prime Minister Oli said that the UML is being attacked because of its nationalist stance. "Don't get confused, because we have taken a clear stance of nationalism, foreign brokers are working against the UML," he said, "Due to our democratic practices, conduct, approach and clear policy to move the country forward, various powers are afraid of us and are trying to spread many kinds of illusions day by day." Regarding the statement made by the leader of the main opposition party and Chairman of the Maoist Center, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, that the government is about to collapse, he said that the government formed for political stability is working accordingly. He said that his party is doing its best to move the country forward according to the structure of the parliament.

He instructed the workers to focus on the 2084 elections. "The UML has not shouted to form the government, save the government," he said, "The UML has always watched the elections. We said the election of 2070, we said the election of 2074, we said the election of 2079 and we have said the election of 2084, we have said Mission 084. Be sure to embark on the mission, 084.' "If necessary, we should be ready to enter the field of struggle and our forefathers and ancestors have brought the country this far," he said.

'They are trying to incite communal hatred, divide and divide Nepali people in many ways. In the name of caste, in the name of religion, in the name of language, in the name of culture, geography and many other names, they are trying to break it," he said, "We must be clear from such mischief and mischief and protect the democracy by uniting the country, protect the constitution and move the country forward on the road to prosperity." He said that in order to take the country towards regression, he tried to increase the brutal rule by killing people, vandalism, arson, attacks on people's houses, party offices, business establishments, and media houses. "Youth should dare to reject such things," he said, "We should work to protect the constitution and move the country forward on the path of good governance and prosperity." UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel claimed that the UML was under siege and attacked because it stood firmly in favor of independence and self-respect.

Recently, the ruling UML has tried to answer it through street demonstrations after the royalist groups and parties raised questions about the current system. UML has already held 'awakening meetings' on Darbarmarg in Butwal, Damak and Kathmandu. UML is also running a 'Roots Focused' campaign.
