His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has arrived in Kathmandu for a two-day official visit to Nepal.
Arriving in Kathmandu on Tuesday evening, he was received by the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security at the Tribhuvan International Airport. Sharatsingh Bhandari, Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Amrit Bahadur Rai and other senior officials of the Ministry welcomed.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during his stay here, the Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE held a high-level political meeting, as well as the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh. There is a program to hold a formal bilateral meeting with the delegation.
Deputy Prime Minister Nahyan is accompanied by UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed Ali Mohammed Al Sayegh, Assistant Minister of Economic and Trade Affairs Saeed Mubarak Rashid Alhajeri, Assistant Minister of Energy and Sustainability Affairs Abdullah Balala, UAE Ambassador to Nepal Abdullah Zarwan Al Shamsi and other senior officials of the UAE government.
The delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Nahyan is scheduled to leave for the UAE this afternoon.
