The government is going to conduct class 12 exams by deputing civil servants. The meeting held on Tuesday morning of the National Examination Board has decided to conduct the scheduled class 12th examination from the 11th of Baisakh even if civil servants are appointed.
While giving information about the meeting, Board President Mahashram Sharma informed that they have decided to request again the protesting teachers to participate and conduct the Class 12 examination.
Similarly, according to another board member, in the board meeting, most of the officials said that the examination will be conducted anyway and the Chief District Officer should be made more active for this.
According to that official, there has been a discussion about giving all the responsibility of the examination to the chief district officer, the coordinator of the district coordination committee for conducting the examination. In the meeting, the majority agreed that 'Civil servants can conduct the Public Service Commission examination and they can also conduct the 12th standard'. In the
meeting, since all the teachers did not come to the protest, it was discussed that teachers can be appointed as center presidents and inspectors in those centers. Board President Sharma says, 'Not all teachers are in the movement. As much as possible, we keep teachers as center presidents and inspectors. Where you are not, the CDO can find an alternative and conduct the exam.'
