Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that Education, Science and Technology Minister Vidya Bhattarai has resigned due to health reasons and not because of disagreement with him.

In a program organized on the occasion of the 76th foundation day of the Nepal Communist Party, he expressed his dissatisfaction with the resignation of Minister Bhattarai due to the non-cooperation and neglect of the Prime Minister. Prime Minister Oli commented that Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba went to Bangkok for a health check-up and also tried to link it with the rumors that the government would collapse.
