A four-month-old baby died after being beaten up during a fight between his parents. 21-year-old Dipendra Pariyar and his 35-year-old wife Kamala Pariyar of Boudikali Rural Municipality-2 Armle in East Nawalparasi got into a drunken fight on Monday night. It has been revealed in the preliminary investigation of the police.

 

The police said that the injured child died at Rampur Hospital in Palpa during treatment. According to DSP Madhu Nepal of District Police Office East Nawalparasi, the husband and wife were fighting and the baby was thrown and the baby was seriously injured after throwing a stone. The injured child was taken to the hospital by the locals and the grandfather for treatment. 

The husband and wife involved in the incident escaped after reducing the incident and were arrested by Dehgaon police. According to Shyamsunder Shrestha, the ward chairman of Boudikali Rural Municipality-2, there was a dispute between Kamala Pariyar and her husband, who had gone to visit her dead, in Gapdanda of Ghiring Rural Municipality-4 in Tanahun. Kamala also has two children from her first husband and she got married to Dipendra who is a tractor driver. Since the place of incident is Tanahun and the accused are from Nawalpur, Tanahun police has been handed over.
