The Prime Minister urged the teachers to return to the school through immediate negotiations

”Teachers' movement is a loss for students and parents, teachers have no benefit. Therefore, let's end the agitation by sitting in talks immediately. This is not the right time for you to agitate when the reactionary elements are on the rise.'

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called upon the agitating teachers to return to school in talks as soon as possible, as the state will address the demands that can be met with the country's budget.

Inaugurating the 11th National Conference of Nepal Progressive Professors' Organization in Kirtipur today, Prime Minister Oli said that since the current government is democratic and not repressive, the legitimate demands of the professional sector will be addressed along with the protection of trade union rights.

'The School Education Bill is pending in the Parliamentary Committee . Yatra teachers don't have to come to protest in Sakad to bring the law. The admission campaign has already started . Please go to the school and get admission. Check the answer sheet of SEE. Don't be offended by my statement that 52 percent of students are failed in SEE . Let's work for quality education', Prime Minister Oli said, 'Teachers' movement is a loss for students and parents, teachers have no benefit . Therefore, let's end the agitation by sitting in talks immediately . This is not the right time for you to agitate when the reactionary elements are on the rise.'

Prime Minister Oli, who is also the chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML), said that professors should be intellectually active against regressive, extreme left wing, distortions and discordant trends.

Being aware of the regressive, extremism, distortions and discordant tendencies that are manifesting in the country, he has called for the formation of ideas for the defense of the existing federal democratic republic from his intellectual field.

'There is no such thing as a conscious class like a professor cannot differentiate between democracy and dictatorship . No conscious citizen can remain neutral about how to make his society. Through the use of democracy, skilled manpower should be created for the prosperity of the country', Prime Minister Oli said, 'We have called it Mission 2084 . That mission is a mission against anarchists, regressives, incivility and attempts to take the country back to a dark journey . In this, you should show your intelligence by writing and speaking. As a scholarly community, we should identify ourselves in the society . The development of the country happens when the citizens are healthy, educated and skilled . Making citizens healthy, educated and skilled should be our priority.'

Prime Minister Oli urged us to think about how to bring education within everyone's reach and how to provide quality education and reminded us to reflect on the very important issue of how we acquire, collect and transmit knowledge. He requested that since the birth of this organization was during the right movement, it should play an effective role for the reforms to be done in the higher education sector in the coming days.
