The police have arrested one more person on charges of complicity in vandalism and arson during the royalist demonstration in Tinkune of the capital on March 15th. According to Police Complex Kathmandu, 34-year-old Santosh Silwal, resident of Dhading, was arrested.
The police have taken permission from District Court Kathmandu for 4 days to keep him in custody today. Along with this, the police arrested and investigated 84 people in the incident.
Spokesperson SP Apilraj Bohora said that 22 of those arrested are being investigated for crimes against the state. Out of the arrested, 8 have been released during their appearance.
