Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba is going to Bangkok, Thailand on Sunday. She is going to participate in the 81st session of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNscape) to be held in Bangkok from April 21 to 25.

As Nepal is currently the chairman of UNscape, Minister Rana is scheduled to chair the 81st session of the commission. There is also a program where Minister Rana will address the session on behalf of Nepal.

The theme of this session is regional cooperation for sustainable urban development in Asia and the Pacific. A Nepali delegation including officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Planning Commission and Nepali Embassy in Thailand is scheduled to participate in that session.

Minister Rana will return to the country on April 25, according to his secretariat.
