The Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission has appealed to the Supreme Court against the decision made by the special court. The Commission has appealed to the Supreme Court against the judgment of the Special Court on different dates.
The commission had filed a case against the then district coordination chief of Sunsari, Gopal Rajbhandari, demanding imprisonment and fine for corruption worth 80 lakh 52 thousand. In that case, the special judge decided on 24 Baisakh 2081 . The Commission has appealed to the Supreme Court against the decision.
Similarly, the commission filed a case against the defendant, including Nilakantha Pokharel, the then Acting Head of the Directorate of Agricultural Development, Gandaki Province, claiming 28 lakh 37 thousand two hundred and 17 bigos. In this case, the Special Judge had decided on 20th May 2081. The commission had filed a corruption case against the defendants, including Ganeshman Singh, the acting Chief Administrative Officer of Mahavai Rural Municipality, Kalikot, on charges of corruption amounting to 38,76,270.
The Commission decided on the case on August 1, 2081. Similarly, the commission filed a case against the defendant Surendra Bahadur Bista, Acting Administrative Officer of Shailyashakhir Rural Municipality, for corruption worth 2.6 million two thousand five hundred and 56.
The Commission had decided on the case on 22 February 2080. A case was filed against Udayakrishna Adhikari, Senior Field Assistant of Grameen Vikas Laghubitta Financial Institution, on charges of corruption worth 1.9 million two thousand two hundred and thirty-seven.
The Commission had decided on the case on 6th August 2081. Spokesperson Rajendra Kumar Paudel informed that the Commission has appealed to the Supreme Court separately on Friday against the decision made by the special committee.
