Preparations have been made to release RPP General Minister Dhaval Shamsher Rana, who was arrested after the Tinkune demonstration on 15th of Chait. Mahamantri Rana is about to be released for treatment.
According to Home Ministry sources, Rana's family had applied for his release to make arrangements for treatment. According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, he is going to be released if he is present when called.

On 15th of Chait, the court allowed the arrest of Mishra and Rana to be detained for 5 days for the first time. After that, the deadline of 6 days was extended against them on 20th of Chait. Last time, on March 26, the deadline of 15 days was extended against them.
