Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the government will not last long because of growing dissatisfaction within the current ruling coalition. President Dahal, who came to East Nawalparasi today as part of the 'Maoist postal route with the people' focus on the Terai-Madhesh Awakening Campaign, said this at a press conference organized by the Nawalpur Journalist Federation.
During an informal conversation with the Congress and UML leaders, KP Sharma Oli insisted that there was no point in staying in the government because of the extreme distaste for the government and the people. "The people and the Congress-UML leaders are dissatisfied with the government led by Oli," he said. Criticizing his party for focusing only on the government and power, he said that he is now among the people and that he felt during the campaign that the common people have hope and trust in the Maoists.
President Dahal met the martyred family in Nawalpur and addressed the general meeting organized by the Maoists. During the campaign, Maoist leaders Narayankaji Shrestha, Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Nandkishore Pun, Leaders wearing sapkota Agni Prasad participated.
