Congress MP and former Foreign Minister NP Saud has said that Nepal is on the path of constitutionalism and political parties should succeed in institutionalizing it.

Addressing the program organized by Deuda Society on Monday on the occasion of New Year, Saud said that democracy should be institutionalized in Nepal. 'The country is on the road to constitutionalism and democracy. I wish that it becomes institutionalized, peace becomes sustainable,' he said.

Stating that the Nepali people have made great sacrifices for the constitution and system, he opined that all political parties should strive for its stability. "Let no one shake the constitution and democracy built by the martyrs after long sacrifices." "Let's not shake our efforts to establish lasting peace in Nepal," he said.

Saying that Deuda is the culture of Far West, Saud said that it should not be allowed to weaken. Mentioning that culture has moved society forward with ideas and methods, he said that he should preserve it and move forward.
