Foreign Minister and Central Member of Congress Arju Rana Deuba has said that the tendency to say anything and blame each other in the name of being 'viral' has increased within the Nepali Congress Party.
Addressing the meeting and interaction of senior workers organized by the Congress District Working Committee of Ilam on Monday in Sriantu, Ilam, she said that the trend of saying anything in the name of going viral is increasing and this trend is seen even more in the Congress.
'It seems that he speaks against some leaders and parties in order to get 'coverage' in the media. This will make a person viral in the media. However, the damage to the party should also be calculated,' she said. Foreign Minister Rana said that such a trend of the leaders will cause disappointment among the workers from the center to the lower level of the party.
Congress is in the government now, but she said that she heard that opposition to the government is mostly done by Congress leaders. 'In the upcoming elections, we have to make the party bigger than it is now. "Other parties have gone forward saying 'Mission 84', but instead of strengthening the party by uniting the workers from all over the country, we have been arguing with each other," she said.
Foreign Minister Rana suggested to discuss within the party if there were any issues that he was not satisfied with. She also made it clear that her complaints and dissatisfactions are not a matter of talking like this.
Referring to the fact that the Congress succeeded in becoming the largest party in the local and parliamentary elections due to the tireless efforts of the current party chairman, Sher Bahadur Deuba, he emphasized that the campaign should be started from now to make an even bigger party as he will not ally with any other party in the upcoming elections.
