The Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission has appealed to the Supreme Court saying that the verdict of the special court in the case against Abhinay Pathak, the then Assistant Conservation Officer of Chitwan National Park Office, Sauraha Sector, was not satisfactory.
The commission had claimed 31 lakh 59 thousand seven hundred and 35 equivalents. In that case, the special judge acquitted him on June 18.
Similarly, the Commission has also appealed in the case against surveyor Dhruvraj Marasini, Vindeshwar Yav and surveyor Thakur Prasad Guru of the surveyor's office Rupandehi. The Commission is of the view that the action is a corrupt activity as it is illegal to cut the land and prepare a wrong file map.
The special court decided on the case on February 17, 2080.
