The Supreme Court has asked the quality report of the order sent by the High Court Tulsipur, Butwal Bench to RSVP Chairman Ravi Lamichhane.

On Sunday, the single bench of Judge Tek Prasad Dhungana heard the petition of Lamichhane and ordered to submit the quality report. 

RSVP Chairman Ravi Lamichhane filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the order of Tulsipur, Butwal bench to send him to jail. On Friday, Lamichhane's petition was filed in the Supreme Court by his wife Nikita Paudel, RSVP co-spokesperson Pratibha Rawal and lawyer Narayan Kandel.

On the 22nd of March, the High Court Tulsipur, Butwal, overruled the decision of the District Court Rupandehi and ordered Lamichhane to be sent to prison for pre-trial detention. Currently Lamichhane is in Rupandehi prison as a prisoner.

The bench of Judge Prahlad Kumar Yogi of District Court Rupandehi ordered the release of Lamichhane on a bond of 1 crore rupees on 13th January last year. Against the said order, both the Public Prosecutor's office and Lamichhane approached the High Court, Tulsipur, Butwal bench .
