In the last 24 hours, three people have died and 16 people have been injured in various incidents.
According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, 109 disaster incidents have occurred in 59 districts in the 24 hours from Friday to today, and there has been a huge economic loss along with the people involved in those incidents.
Authority spokesperson Ram Bahadur KC said that three people died due to lightning and 13 others were injured. One person was injured due to the storm and two were injured due to animal attack. Similarly, 22 livestock have also died.
The authority has informed that there was a financial loss of 29 million from that incident. According to the authority, there have been fire incidents in 12 districts, lightning incidents in 13 districts, and windstorm incidents in 17 districts. There have been 14 incidents of fire and 17 incidents of lightning, said KC, the spokesperson of the authority.
