UML President and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that he will demonstrate his strength on the 11th of Baisakh. At the awakening meeting organized by the UML Lumbini Province in Butwal on Friday, Oli said that the Youth Association of the UML is going to hold a youth festival on the occasion of Democracy Day.
"I call upon the youth from all over the country to participate in the youth festival to be held in Kathmandu on May 11," he said. Aiming at the monarchist demonstration, he said that the monarchy would not come by placing 1,000 gojis and forcing the youth to throw stones.
Similarly, Prime Minister Oli expressed his displeasure that the UML line could not counter this by saying that the UML and UML leadership are being defamed, opposed and propagated by using fake IDs and AI. "Protest and propaganda has been done by using fake ID and AI. Booster is used. There are many games going on," he said, "we are our own preachers, we don't need to depend on others, we have to know ourselves. I had to promote myself. We had to fight against the attack, we had to be able to stand up to the truth.'
Similarly, he said that the ordinance brought to solve the squatter problem has been stopped for the time being because some elements have disturbed it and the problem will be solved by passing it in the next session. "We were trying to solve the squatter problem and return the looted land of the free community, guthi, university, school, association, etc. and to organize the unruly residents," he said, "but, because some elements disturbed it, there was a problem even by issuing an ordinance." He claimed that even though there was a situation to pass the
, it was not passed by force and it will be passed unanimously in the upcoming session.
