Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh has said that development work should be done in such a way that people feel it and not just propaganda.
Addressing the 31st anniversary ceremony of the Empowered Bagmati Unified Civilization on Thursday, Singh said that it is time to act and show the people not just for propaganda. "As many plans as we have completed now. It should be well informed to the general public and the people should be informed when the rest of the work is carried forward,' he said.
Deputy Prime Minister Singh informed that the temple on the banks of Bagmati river has been reconstructed and restored. He expressed his displeasure that despite the talk of 'Heritage Walk' on the banks of the Bagmati River, where there are many heritage sites, the work was not effective.
Deputy Prime Minister Singh stressed that the work of organizing the corridor from Heritage Walk and cleaning the river should be done immediately. In the same way, he also promised to effectively advance the construction of corridors of rivers. He said, 'What we do is to make the rivers clean and remove the stench. For that We have no other option but to make a plan and move forward.'
