Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the process of providing drinking water to the people of Dharan has progressed.

Prime Minister Oli said this in a meeting with the delegation including Harkaraj Rai, the head of Sunsari's Dharan sub-municipality, at the office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Sinha Darbar.

'Dharanasi should be able to drink drinking water . This process started from today . For this, the federal government will provide necessary facilitation in other matters including budget management . Please convey this message to the people of Dharan,' he said.

The detailed project report for the water supply project has already been prepared by the federal government. City chief Rai informed that he had earlier requested the Ministry of Finance to ensure resources. Prime Minister Oli stressed on the need to build a "landfield site" with modern technology instead of the traditional one for Dharan's waste management.
