After the merger of Janmat Party and Civil Liberation Party, both parties have agreed to keep the name as Civil Janmat Party. The meeting of unity working group held at Amarpur of Madhuvan municipality of Bardia on Sunday agreed on the name and election symbol.
Abdul Khan, the vice president of public opinion, who is also in the working group, informed that it has been decided to put up the election symbol Dhakia. Dhakia is the election symbol of Civil Liberation Party. According to Khan, the dhakia will be placed between the importer-sized flags.

In the last House of Representatives elections, Civil Rights Party won 4 seats directly and 1 seat by popular vote. Public opinion won 5 seats for Samnutik. There are 7 MPs from Naupa in the far west of the province. Similarly, there are 4 MPs in Lumbini and 1 MP in Madhesh. Similarly, Janmat has 13 MPs in Madhesh and 3 MPs in Lumbini. The 107-member Madhesh will remain as the fourth party in the state assembly with 14 MPs even after the merger.
Naupa and Janmat, who are in the 5th and 6th positions in the 87-member Lumbini Provincial Assembly, will reach the fourth position if they unite. RP also has 4 MPs in Lumbini.
