Janmaat and Naupa unity: Almost agreed on the name 'Nagarik Janmaat Party', election symbol 'Dhakiya'

The two parties represented in the House of Representatives have reached the final stage of the process of public opinion and civil liberation party unity. A meeting of the working group formed by the two parties is being held at Madhuvan in Bardia on Sunday to conclude the unity process.

Janmaat has kept Vice President and MP Abdul Khan, Sharadsingh Yadav and Balgobind Chaudhary in the working group. Similarly, Gangaram Chaudhary, Sunita Chaudhary and Ramlal Dangaura are in the working group formed by Naupa. Vice President Khan said that the working group will prepare a blueprint for integration by Sunday evening. According to the plan of the working group, it is said that the chairman of public opinion CK Raut and the guardian of Naupa Resham Chaudhary will give the final shape to the unity. 

The leaders have also said that there has been an agreement on the name of 'Nagarik Janmat Party' after unity. Similarly, there is a discussion about keeping the election symbol 'Dhakiya'. In the last election, Naupa contested with 'Dhakiya' and Janmat 'Mike' symbols. The two parties have started the process of unification with the aim of uniting the new forces on the basis of ideas. 

In the last House of Representatives elections, Civil Rights Party won 4 seats directly and 1 seat by popular vote. Public opinion won 5 seats for Samnutik. There are 7 MPs from Naupa in the far west of the province. Similarly, there are 4 MPs in Lumbini and 1 MP in Madhesh. Similarly, Janmat has 13 MPs in Madhesh and 3 MPs in Lumbini. The 107-member Madhesh will remain as the fourth party in the state assembly with 14 MPs even after the merger.

Naupa and Janmat, who are in the 5th and 6th positions in the 87-member Lumbini Provincial Assembly, will reach the fourth position if they unite. RP also has 4 MPs in Lumbini.
