Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is returning home on Saturday after an official visit to Thailand and participating in the sixth summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).
Prime Minister Oli left for Nepal this morning at 10:15 local time. He was bid farewell by Thailand's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Suriya Jungraunggrenkit in a special room at the Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok.
Similarly, Nepali Ambassador to Thailand Dhan Bahadur Wali and Thailand's Ambassador to Nepal Sawapong Sirisorn also bid farewell to Prime Minister Oli. Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to arrive home today at 12:30 noon.
This is the first official visit of the Prime Minister of Nepal to Thailand at the friendly invitation of the Prime Minister of Thailand, Pei Thong Than Shinawatra.
