Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli returned home on Saturday after an official visit to Thailand and participating in the sixth summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).

Prime Minister Oli was bid farewell in the morning at Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok, accompanied by Thailand's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Suriya Jangraungrenkit.

This is the first official visit to Thailand by the Prime Minister of Nepal at the friendly invitation of the Prime Minister of Thailand, Pei Thong Thanh Shinawatra.

First Lady Radhika Shakya, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Prime Minister Oli's visiting party.
