Nepali Congress General Minister Gagan Kumar Thapa, targeting the former king Gyanendra Shah, commented that there is no time to discuss the character that has been given in the past.

Addressing the 'Ncell Bahrakhari Golf and Economic Seminar' program organized by Bahrakhari Media in Kathmandu on Saturday, General Minister Thapa mentioned that the 2080-090s are the time to build the future and said that time should not be wasted on the characters and issues of the past.

Commenting on the monarchy as an 'unwanted and trivial' system, he said there was no point in discussing the past.

General Minister Thapa said, 'In the next decade, there should be a debate on how to increase the IT sector five times, how to increase the salary three times, how to expand the IT infrastructure.'

He expressed his belief that within the next 8-10 years, not only in Kirtipur hill, but in many places across the country, youths can earn lakhs of rupees.

'We have that possibility, but for that we have to think in the right direction, we have to increase the speed,' he said, 'This is an opportunity. Let's bring necessary legal reforms, make structural changes, cooperate. It doesn't matter if it's private or government, everyone will move forward together.'

Mahamantri Thapa, taking the current decade as the 'Golden Decade' of building the future, reiterated the idea that time should not be wasted on old and irrelevant characters.

'Now the decade from 2080 to 090 is not needed, we don't waste time by discussing topics and characters that are not needed, we don't need them, they are gone, we have forgotten them,' he said, 'Now the topic of debate is how to make our IT experts five times? How to increase the salary three times? How to build infrastructure.'

General Minister Thapa mentioned that the IT sector showed hope even when the economy was in trouble and said that Nepal could take a big opportunity from this sector
