Meeting with Indian Prime Minister Modi today
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is addressing the sixth summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multisectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) today. Along with him, the heads of government of the member countries are scheduled to address the conference.
The first agenda of the summit is to sign the 'BIMSTEC Maritime Transport Cooperation'.
The agendas will be presented after the welcome address by the Prime Minister of Thailand, the host country, Paitongtarn Shinawatra. After that, the Prime Ministers (leaders of the delegations) of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal and Sri Lanka will address. After the speech, the agendas will be passed and the host country's Prime Minister Shinawatra is scheduled to hold a press conference. After lunch at the
conference, there will be a bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Oli and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 4 pm local time. All these programs will be held at Hotel Shangri-La in Bangkok. After completing his first official visit to Thailand, Prime Minister Oli participated in the BIMSTEC Summit.
After the BIMSTEC conference, Prime Minister Oli will participate in the reception organized by the Nepali Embassy in Thailand this evening.
