Party unification between the two political parties centered on Terai-Madhes, the Janmat Party and the Civil Liberation Party, has almost reached its final stage. The leaders of both sides have been in continuous discussions in recent days to finalize the unity process.

Leaders say that by uniting both the parties, initiatives have been taken for unity by raising national issues and people's issues in a strong manner. The working group formed by both the parties for integration is meeting at various stages and trying to find a point of agreement. The leaders have said that phased discussions are being held at the working group and the top leadership level.

The leaders have been working for party unification for two months. This process has gained momentum after the formation of a working group by both parties.

Civil Immunity Party President Ranjita Shrestha informed that discussions are underway to conclude the party integration process soon. Party integration will be completed by completing the rest of the issues at the level of the working group.'

According to the initial agreement, the name of the party, the flag of the party, and the leadership of the party have also been agreed upon. The leaders claim that Sike Raut, the current chairman of the Janmat Party, will be the chairman of the party formed after the merger, and Ranjita Shrestha, the chairman of the Civil Liberties Party, will be the co-chairman.

'We have entered into the party integration, the name of the party, flag, election symbols, officials including the chairman have been roughly agreed upon. The lower level structures of the party, including the secretariat and the central committee, can be adjusted gradually,' said Dr. Sharadsingh Yadav, spokesperson of the Janmat Party, who is also a member of the working group.
