Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is on an official visit to Thailand, had a meeting with senior Thai businessmen in Bangkok today.

Members of the Nepalese business delegation also participated in the meeting. Prime Minister Oli left for Bangkok on Tuesday for an official visit to Thailand and to participate in the sixth summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).

He headed a 21-member delegation at the friendly invitation of Thailand's Prime Minister Pethong Than Shinawatra. On Wednesday, Prime Minister Oli and his Thai counterpart discussed various issues of Nepal-Thailand relations, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Prime Minister Oli will participate in the BIMSTEC summit on March 22. Meetings will be held with the counterparts of member countries and heads of state during the summit. Along with the Prime Minister, First Lady Radhika Shakya, Foreign Minister Dr. Arju Rana Deuba, Prime Minister's Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Economic and Development Advisor Dr. Yuvraj Khatiwada, Chief Secretary Eknarayan Aryal and others are participating.

Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to return home on 23rd of Chait.
