Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is on an official visit to Thailand, and Bhutanese Prime Minister Chiring Tobge met in Bangkok today.

A 'sideline' meeting was held between Prime Minister Oli and Bhutan's Prime Minister Tobge in Bangkok while participating in the sixth summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).

During the 79th General Assembly of the United Nations in New York last September, they discussed various aspects of cooperation. Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba, Prime Minister's Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Foreign Ministry Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai and others participated in the meeting.
