Communications and Information Technology Minister Prithvisubba Gurung has said that Radio Nepal should work for the country and the people and not for the government.
Addressing the 75th Diamond Festival ceremony of Radio Nepal under Public Service Broadcasting Nepal today in Kathmandu, Minister of Communications Gurung said that Radio Nepal, operating under the PSB model, is more important than power. He said that he should work for the country and the people.
Stating that there is no need for Radio Nepal to sing the praises of any political leader or party, he instructed to inform the public by transmitting the truth and official information.
Minister of Communications Gurung emphasized that Radio Nepal should be established as a media house to be adopted by all classes, regions and sides of the country while playing the role of unity and inclusion in the diversity of the country.
