The Government of Nepal is going to provide one hundred thousand US dollars financial support to the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT).

Government Spokesperson and Minister of Communication and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung informed that the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Monday decided to provide the grant support to the organization which is in financial crisis as Nepal is a founding member state.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is on an official visit to Thailand and will attend the sixth summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) while in Bangkok, he said.

Prime Minister Oli is going to Thailand this afternoon for an official visit at the friendly invitation of Thai Prime Minister Phethongthan Shinawatra.
