The government has decided to recommend to the President to end the current session of the Federal Parliament (House of Representatives and National Assembly) from 12 midnight on Tuesday 19 March.

Prithvi Subba Gurung, Government Spokesperson and Minister of Communication and Information Technology informed that the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Monday evening decided to recommend to the President for the end of the current winter session of the Parliament.

According to the Constitution of Nepal, there is a provision that the President can call and end the session of both or any of the houses of the Federal Parliament . The current session of the Parliament, which is in the form of a bill session, started on January 18.
