Prime Minister Oli leaves for Thailand

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has left for Bangkok, Thailand on Tuesday. He will pay an official visit to Thailand and participate in the sixth summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multisectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).

At the friendly invitation of Thai Prime Minister Phethongthan Shinawatra (Patongtarn Shinawatra), his  A formal visit is about to take place.

Prime Minister Oli's official visit to Thailand will begin on March 20. During the visit, bilateral talks will be held at the Prime Minister's level and 6 memorandums of understanding will be signed between the two and non-governmental sectors in terms of tourism and culture. After the bilateral talks, Prime Minister Oli will participate in a joint press briefing with Thai Prime Minister Sinawat. After the meeting with the King of Thailand, the one-day official visit will end.

During his stay in Thailand, Prime Minister Oli will meet and discuss with prominent businessmen there on the morning of March 21 and address a program held at the Asian Institute of Technology in the afternoon of the same day. In the evening, Prime Minister Oli will participate in the formal dinner given to the leaders of the BIMSTEC Summit.

There is a program to attend and address the Bimstock Summit on March 22nd. After the summit, Prime Minister Oli plans to hold sideline talks with the leaders of the rest of the countries as much as possible. On the same day, Prime Minister Oli will participate in the signing ceremony of the Maritime Transport Cooperation Advance. On the same day in the evening, he will participate in the program to be held at the Nepali Embassy in Bangkok.

Prime Minister Oli's visiting party includes First Lady Radhika Shakya, Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba, Prime Minister's Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Economic Development Advisor Yuvraj Khatiwada, Nepal Government Chief Secretary Ek Narayan Aryal, Foreign Ministry Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai, Prime Minister's personal physician Divya Singh Shah, Prime Minister's Chief Personal Secretary Rajesh Bajracharya, security personnel and media personnel and 21 people. Representatives of Nepal's private sector are also included in the visit.

The team led by the Prime Minister will return to the country on March 23.
