Ravi Lamichhane, chairman of Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASWPA), has said that the first convention of the party will be held in the coming Baisakh. The meeting of the Central Committee held today under the chairmanship of Chairman Ravi Lamichhane has decided to hold the first convention in Baisakh at the same time as announced by the party's national meeting.

Acting Spokesman Manish Jha informed that he has instructed the members of the central committee and the state committee to submit their written opinion and agenda to the party within the next three days regarding organizing the convention.

Similarly, the meeting has decided to start the 'People's Talk Journey, Janayatra' from Chitwan on 23rd Chait.  On behalf of the party, a 'Mission Blueprint' task force has been formed under the coordination of Vice Chairman Dolprasad Aryal and Swarnim Wagle, including former ministers Sumana Shrestha, Shishir Khanal, Virajbhakta Shrestha and Dr. Tosima Karki. 

Joint Chief Minister Sumana Shrestha and Vipin Kumar Acharya have been assigned responsibility for the implementation of the Leadership Academy and Candidate Club. Deputy leader of the parliamentary party, Virajbhakta Shrestha, has been assigned the coordination responsibility of the party's mass travel program including procedures.

Today's meeting has also nominated Krishna Prasad Lamsal and Krishna Kumari Adhikari as joint general ministers of Gandaki Province on the recommendation of the Gandaki Province Committee. Lamichhane, who returned to the chairmanship after about five and a half months, said that in the current political situation, the current party structure needs to be stronger and stronger. Similarly, Chairman Lamichhane called on the party members to be ready for changes and restructuring in the organization.
