The House has been informed about the arrest of Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RDP) MP Dhawal Shamsher Jabara for misdemeanor crimes against the state.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire informed the House of Representatives meeting that a letter was received from the district police complex with the arrest and detention of MP Jabara from Satdobato and further investigation is underway. He said that the House was informed for the purposes of Sub-rule 1 of Rule 48 of the House of Representatives Rules 2079.

The police arrested and investigated MP Jabara, senior vice president of RPP, Rabindra Mishra, after a large loss of property was caused during the royalists' movement in Kathmandu's Tinkune and other areas on Friday. Jabara is the coordinator of the movement mobilization committee of the Rajawadi group.
