Demand to constitute a high-level judicial inquiry commission on the three-cornered incident

The opposition parties Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASWPA) and Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) have demanded the formation of a high-level judicial inquiry commission into the incident that took place during the demonstration in Tinkune last Friday.

RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden expressed his grief over the incident and demanded a fair investigation. He also demanded that journalist Suresh Rajak and another youth Savin Maharjan, who lost their lives in the incident, be declared martyrs.

RSVP's executive spokesperson Manish Jha said that the government cannot get away with blaming any one party in the incident.

'We oppose the chaos and arrogance of the triangle. But only one party is not responsible for this," he said. "The video of the young man who lost his life, Savin Maharjan, was shot from behind. He was not even running away, he was not throwing stones. The death of journalist Suresh Rajak is also suspicious. We demand a high-level commission of inquiry into this incident.'

MP J also made it clear that he wants the House to run in a modest, gentlemanly and parliamentary system.
