The Supreme Court has ordered to keep the entire work of cable car construction under the path of Taplejung for the time being.

In the writ filed by Yam Bahadur Limbu and others against Pathibhara Darshan Cable Car Pvt. A short-term interim order has been issued in the name of company. Both sides have been called for discussions on the 26th. ''Looking at the nature and seriousness of the issues raised in the petition, it seems appropriate to hear both sides and come to a conclusion on whether an interim order should be issued or not,'' the order said.

Adivasis, tribals and others are protesting that the cable car should not be built in Pathibhara. They have been saying that the cable car construction will encroach on their cultural beliefs.
